How I Can Help

Acupuncture with Needles

Acupuncture with Needles

The animal is examined from head to tail to discover tenderness, pain signs, texture changes, and trigger points. Local and distant points are then treated to appropriate depths to address the condition.

Laser Stimulation

Laser Stimulation

Laser stimulation is useful for patients sensitive to needles, especially on the face and lower limbs. It can also support wound healing and requires only 10-20 seconds per point.

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is used in selected cases such as nerve injury, muscle wasting, spinal disc disease, and sciatica. Gentle stimulation helps activate muscle and supports nerve recovery.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is based on an ancient Chinese medical practice that involved the discovery of stimulating certain points on the body resulted in relief from pain and improvements in body functions. These points were treated by simple pressure, or heat, or with needles, and today also by laser and electrical stimulation.

Does it hurt?

Acupuncture needles are very thin and generally do not inflict pain. Some feel more than others, while others do not feel the needle at all. Laser and heat (moxa) treatment is an option for the severe needle sensitive individual.

How many sessions are needed?

The number depends on the condition and the level of response. A strong responder shows big improvements within days of the 1st treatment; an average responder takes 2-3 treatments. Chronic problems often need 2-5 weekly treatments before progressively increasing the gap.

What is the cost of treatment?

Live pricing for consultations and treatments is shown in the Services & Fees section and stays in sync with the clinic information system, so the figures you see are always current.
